Slack Barshinger Wins 11 Business Marketing Association Pro-Comm Awards2004 BMA “Agency of the Year” wins three Best of Division awards and eight Awards of ExcellenceCHICAGO March 24, 2005 – Slack Barshinger, a leading business-to-business integrated marketing communications agency, topped the charts of agency winners with 11 total awards in the 30th Annual Business Marketing Association (BMA) Pro-Comm Awards. Winning across nine different categories, Slack Barshinger was recognized for its work in creative, direct marketing and public relations services. In total, Slack Barshinger received Pro-Comm awards honoring work performed for seven of its clients during 2004. The BMA Pro-Comm Awards program is one of the most prestigious business-to-business communication awards competitions and draws hundreds of entries annually from b-to-b marketing agencies and companies. “We’re honored to be among the agencies recognized in this highly-respected awards program,” said Gary Slack, CEO, Slack Barshinger. “I’m especially thrilled with our accomplishments in the PR category, winning one of two Best of Division Awards and two of four Awards of Excellence.” The Chicago-based agency was designated Business Marketing Association’s “Agency of the Year” in 2002 and 2004.
